1. Who we are
doggrooming.sg ("we", "us", "our") is a matching service that connects dog owners in Singapore with independent dog groomers. We do not provide grooming services ourselves, and we are not a party to any grooming appointment you arrange with a groomer. This policy explains how we handle the personal data you give us.
2. What personal data we collect
When you submit a quote request, we collect the details you choose to provide, which typically include:
- Your name;
- Your contact details (phone / WhatsApp number, and email if you provide it);
- Your dog's breed, size and the service you need;
- Your area or postal code and whether you prefer mobile or studio grooming;
- Any additional notes you add about your dog or preferred timing.
We do not ask for, or want, sensitive information such as identity-card numbers or payment-card details. Please don't include them in the form.
3. How we use your data
We use the details you provide to:
- Match your request with independent groomers who serve your area and offer the service you need;
- Pass your enquiry to those groomers so they can contact you with a quote;
- Respond to you if you contact us directly; and
- Keep reasonable records of enquiries and prevent spam or misuse of the form.
4. Who we share your data with
This is the core of what we do. When you submit a request and tick the consent box, we share your enquiry details with the independent groomers we match you to, so that they can contact you with a quote. Those groomers are separate businesses and become responsible for the data once they receive it.
We also rely on trusted service providers who process data on our behalf purely to run the website and the form:
- Formaloo — receives and stores form submissions on our behalf;
- Cloudflare — hosts the site and provides security and delivery.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.
5. Consent and withdrawal
We collect and share your data on the basis of the consent you give when you submit the form. You may withdraw your consent at any time by emailing puppysingapore2017@gmail.com. Once you withdraw, we will stop sharing your details with further groomers. Note that groomers already matched to you before withdrawal will still hold the details they received; you can contact them directly to ask them to stop.
6. Access, correction and retention
Under the PDPA you may ask us what personal data we hold about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete it. Email puppysingapore2017@gmail.com and we'll respond within a reasonable time. We keep enquiry details only for as long as needed to match you and for reasonable record-keeping, after which we delete or anonymise them.
7. Cookies and analytics
This website does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We run a small amount of client-side JavaScript purely to make the pages animate as you scroll — it stores nothing about you. If we add privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics in future, we'll update this policy to say so.
8. How we protect your data
The site is served over HTTPS, and form submissions are sent securely to our form processor. We limit the data we collect to what a groomer genuinely needs, which is itself a protection. No online service can promise perfect security, but we take reasonable steps to keep your details safe.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our service grows — for example, if we sign groomer partners or add new features. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
