Trail walking in the Nature Reserve and along the Rail Corridor adds two things a flat dog never faces: ticks, and grass seeds that work into the paws and ears. A groom here should include a genuine skin-and-coat inspection, not just a wash and cut — and for a large double coat, budget two to three hours, most of it drying.
